I can't count how many times a woman yelled in the movie. Near the end when one of them sees the walking skeleton, she yelled at the top of her lungs maybe six times in a row.

Nothing more aggravating than hearing a fifties movie scream.

True. I can't think of any that didn't hurt my ears.
