spot on about the telephone book comment, its like it don't matter if its a bad movie, palance is always amazing to watch. this is the only time i've seen the united artists logo in black and white, maybe i'm wrong, but alot of this looks like its shot in a studio and like they were out in the middle of nowhere with not alot to work with, and it looks kind of cheap sort of like how british movies from this time used to look, other great roles of palance around the 1950's i really enjoyed from early in his career are "man in the attic" and "requiem for a heavyweight", i thought he got even better a bit later in his career, this movie certainly has its moments. i though the whole old guy talk remarks were a bit offensive.

in mornin with the risin sun,
over the mountain so many days been gone,
returned to the log cabin,
to the future you had been travellin,
join back in this simple life,
in this past century you and i,
walked in by the dirt floor,
keeping the fire on,
been out hunting through forest,
by the stove shaking your forms throwing your brown hair again,
all i know this little peaceful spot of native land,
with you not a cloud in the sky,
villagers no idea you control the weather around,
would burn you at the stake if they ever found out,
as i share the log cabin with a scientist lady in another time.
