Alan Ladd was a little guy and its clear when you watch the Callaway bout that he standing on a platform to measure up to Ben Johnson's formidable height advantage. Ladd was a leading man who made several memorable films but I always felt that " Shane " was by far his best film and truly immortalized him in cinematic lore.

I like so many Alan Ladd movies, but this is one of the best...The short man with the handsome face and deep sexy voice...

So, what's the minimum height requirement for a man to be of good character and know how to shoot quickly and accurately? Are men over 5' 11" normally better people?

Well Goliath wasn't a nice chap, so probably not
