Grace Kelly rumours

Can someone please provide me with the case for or against the rumour that Grace Kelly slept around a lot? I noted in the trivia section that she was sleeping with Gary Cooper--but only while filming. Talk about method acting.
Anyone care to weigh in? Is her reputation justified? Just another instance of the double standard?

I can't say anything about whether all the rumors were true, but I can verify that yes, there definitely were a whole lot of rumors to that effect, Anything-In-Pants Grace. You might call it The Official Rumor.

...Then she married Prince Rainier, and all of that seemed such like a jarring contrast to her new princessdom status, it made it inevitable nobody would ever completely forget the rumors, whether they were the least bit true or not.

I heard this, too. also Ingrid Bergman laid everybody..ditto for Gary Cooper.

Grace Kelly had a long affair with Bing Crosby. She also slept with Clark Gable, Ray Milland, Bill Holden and Frank Sinatra. She did not sleep with Cary Grant or Jimmy Stewart, her co-star in Rear Window.

It's not "rumors" that she slept around, it's fact and well documented in various biographies.

Heard about Grace, not Ingrid. I only knew she cheated on her hubby.

Dick Cavett says that Alfred Hitchcock randomly told him off camera on his show that Grace Kelly was the most promiscuous woman in Hollywood. So, I am guessing there was truth to the rumors.

There are rumors he referred to her as an "icy covered volcano". LOL!

That's hot. I thought she was a posh lady. Lucky bastards whoever hit that.

I recall Stephanie was a bit of a wild child in her youth in addition to Albert's playboy past. But was Caroline "fast n free" in her younger years as well? I was in grammar school in the mid-late 70's, but recall when she married her 1st hubby Phillipe in '78. I read she once dated Ingrid's son Roberto Jr. Grace once commented on Tinsel town's phony moral attitudes in a subtle way. She did crave older, married men in her Hollywood days.
