No dvd; no threads...!?

I'm amazed there are no threads dedicated to this film. I'm sure me and my friends can't have been the only ones to have watched this on British TV back in the early 90s. I thought this was a fantastic, funny, and imaginative romp; but it seems I'll will be waiting forever for a dvd release, if the level of interest on the imdb is anything to go by.
