Is this SUPERIOR to the Flintstones?

I sure hope so! I never liked the stupid animated Flintstones with its ridiculous setting that I'm sure even kids didn't believe was real, so I would love to see this at some point, rather than the crappy animated SHIT that was repeated AD NAUSEUM for decades in the UK, and of which the Honeymooners never existed in the minds of the BBC and ITV. Not joking, they never showed it here, just the shitty cartoon remake. Or spoof.

The Honeymooners is superior to just about any comedy series including the Flintstones which were mildly amusing for me (not a fan).

The Flintstones have always been considered to be based on the Honeymooners and indeed there are too many similarities to ignore, but the battling head butting married couple was a common theme in radio and later in TV, but the Honeymooners was written as an adult comedy and the Flintstones was written for kids.

Exactly. The buffoonish husband and the sharp-tongued wife are traditions that go back at least as far as radio sitcoms of the 1920s, and probably even much earlier, to stage comedies and melodramas. "The Honeymooners" was the first great television sitcom, so good it is still popular nearly seven decades after it's only full season. "The Flintstones" was okay, if you were under twelve years old. There is no comparison.
