So No One Finds Irene... (Spoilers)

...a disgusting, despicable woman? How in the world is she supposed to be the one people root for? She married a man she didn't love. She then became best friends with her niece and proceeded to steal the man the niece was going to marry. She then married the niece's father. I don't know of a more low class, degenerate woman in the literary world. (Maybe an exaggeration). She is trash though.
