Is there any affair between Rick and Yvonna?
I thought she was his wife as she asked him when will he come back home very strictly as if she was his wife. I thought it wasn't clear in the movie.
Anybody can explain me this?
Rick never got over Ilsa, not to the point that he gave up women, but he probably viewed Yvonna as a sexual conquest only, not interested in anything more than a passing fling. She, on the other hand, fell for him and started to get clingy.
shareI'm not positive, but I think Yvonne asked him "Where were you last night?" and "When will I see you again?" Which could mean that he never showed up at her place like he'd promised. But yeah, she was his plaything.

1) Rick tells Sasha 'drive her home and come right back..'
2) Renault says he'd give her a go right in front of Rick

Yvonne wasn't Rick's wife. She appeared interested in him but he played aloof, that's it. In interviews the actress who played Yvonne said that her character had more lines but they were cut substantially during last-minute rewrites.
