Big government is in full force in this movie, with the Department of Agriculture collective as the family's saving grace. Don't forget the Communist undertones as well, with the people sharing resources and organizing at the community level to survive. Goddamn socialists!
shareThat's funny. Like at the table at lunch today it struck me how nice everybody was caring & looking out for each other, being pleasant, oh, & sharing!!! Yes, nice people who live in a town where the beginning price of a regular single family home is about $700K or more. Sure, we drive nice cars, like mine. Why, is sharing so anti-American, or maybe not Christ like enough. But I do agree that corporate socialism is a real curse, but no politics gets talked about there. Some old husband spoke of a fearful racist term, & reported it. And no more racist talk since he's never to have been seen again. So, any fear & anger talk of Communist, or godda*n socialist (sic.) is contentious & has no place in a happy, harmonious, & prosperous country based on positive qualities that were taught to everyone I ever knew as a kid by every mother & every decent family. Wasn't tolerated then & if we know better, we'd wouldn't tolerate that kind of hateful loser talk which only causes problems like violence, fear & worsening climate for tackling real problem with silly & stupid blaming of others. As for me, I'm not a racist nor an anti-racist, that is unless you ask somebody who's extreme! Anybody who calls socialist godda*m knows nothing about god & too much about feeling damned all to often. What a pity to have a heart of darkness. Something could help, but there's just got to be wanting something to help. For me it was not going to bars all the time to dance, reading books & getting a real education & not just technical or work classes (& no regular nor extreme churches, etc.) At least McCain knows what side his toast is buttered on in the sense that he's all to aware that the Russian government is not the friend to the American people or the nation (which it the people are). Capitalists get corrupt all the time just like Putin & his undrained swamp of adversaries. Sharing is a good thing, just like volunteering & helping others like with donations. Hatred, intolerance & fear, well, not at all!!!
