Yeah, the specific Star Trek movie in question was No. 5: The Final Frontier, and he chose to speak with Yosemite Sam's voice as well. It's uncanny!

The alien at the climax of Star Trek: The Final Frontier, "God", looked very much to me and others like the Cowardly Lion, and when it was going nuts, it was making eerie sounds like Yosemite Sam's voice when he was fuming at Bugs Bunny. Honestly, I'm not the only one to notice it.

I'm missing the joke. Bert Lahr had been dead for more than 20 years when Final Frontier was made.

So what? The Cowardly Lion only has to LOOK like Bert Lahr's depiction, as "God" did in Star Trek: The Final Frontier. Don't you get it, now?
