Harker and Mina could have helped Van Helsing

Why didn't Van Helsing just have Mina and Harker back him up on why he killed Dracula --- sheez blew me away the dumb cops arrested him ---

I was wondering the same thing.

It's probably because they couldn't afford the actors or the actors replacements for them. Story wise though I agree it makes no sense.

Sounds like this was a plot hole
