Wow Rae relegated herself to being his mistress for 25 years. Well if she loved it, I liked it. The movie was intriguing and entertaining. However hell would freeze over before I let a guy use me like that. I do love Pre-Code films.

The guy was -such- a smarmy opportunistic dick. It was interesting how sympathetically he was treated on the surface, but the facts pointed all the other way. A bit of cognitive dissonance.
