If I saw that he had a major role in something that would be one less reason for me to see it.

I don't care or know much about his personal or political views other than what I've randomly encountered here and there, but he is absolutely the worst actor of the main cast in Stranger Things. This is more apparent the older he gets and every scene of that show that he's in is the worse for it.
