Another junky bites the dust.

If he'd have held out a little longer he could have got that magic 27 years old thing going on for him.

Ah well.

reply

Didn't know much about him except that he was addicted to "lean" or whatever they call it so I'm not surprised to hear he's passed. Sad.

reply

Do you say things like this outside of the internet? Drug addict or not, he was a person. I know the internet is this magical place that you can say and do whatever the fuck you want but things like this always piss me off.

I know I'm wasting my time with you, (Jimmy/Juror 8/hownos) but I want to say that I feel for his family and friends. It a terrible thing to lose someone.

reply

Feeling better now?

Yes. I call junkies junkies in real life as well as on the Internet.

I have sympathies for his family and friends but that is as much as I can extend to someone who died a junkie.

Also, I'm not and have never been Hownos Waitress.

reply

Are you asking about my nose? Wow, didn't think you'd remember nor care. Maybe you don't, ha. Either way, I'm all good. Appreciate it.

That term is so offensive to me because you do not know this person. It annoys me when people judge so quickly. I mean, you don't know anything about him other than what you read or see on tv. However, if I know for a fact someone is a drug addict or junkie if you will, then I would say it right beside you. Maybe not in the way you said it, but I wouldn't be so hostile towards you.

Really? I guess yall just come off similar.

reply

A junkie will rob and throw their grandmother under the bus for a fix. That is all I need to know about them.

I'm hostile towards them because they are casing me up and down every moment I'm around them, like they do with everyone else.

If they can crack their addiction then I've all the time in the world for someone who was formerly a junkie Waitress.

I just don't have the wish to drag them there in me.

reply

I totally agree with you about junkies. We are on the same page, bud.

All I'm saying is, you don't know him. at all. I feel that you are wrong to call someone you don't know, a junkie. You don't know the shit he dealt with. You don't know anything about him.

I feel like you just came in here to say that "cute" little remark about the 27 club thing and get a reaction out of someone. I always fall for it because I'm stupid but whatever.

reply

I'm only of the mind that glamorizing drug use is something I wish celebrities (And their deaths) wouldn't promote to the young and easily impressed upon.

The 27 club part was just luck Waitress.

I give it 5 days until some teenager has killed themselves and their death is somehow attributed to Mac (Rightly or wrongfully so). I get that everyone has their issues but it's too easy to overlook their responsibilities as obligations and not choices - particularly when it is celebrity which allows for any of it.

That's the shit I can't stand about you. It reads like the most asshole comment and drives me crazy.

If his death causes another death, first of all, terrible. second, that person probably had mental issues. maybe mac miller did. society needs to deal with this. we need to start waking up. we need to start helping people. listening.
I don't know anything about Mac Miller. Never listened to a song of his. Don't know if I will or not, probably at some point. Either way, I can't comment on his drug use. I can't comment on anything about the man. I hope his soul is at peace, thats all.

This is the part where I mention something about people projecting what they want to see into someone else's writing and you go batshit at me for it 😜

I also hope Mac is at peace now and agree that listening is an important tool that many have left out of their box because they feel they should be heard more.

A difficult time for helping people when everyone is claiming to be oppressed by everyone else.

reply

Then what are you saying with that comment? If not being a smartass.

I do agree with you there. I doubt the world will sort itself out in my lifetime. I can hope though.

reply

No that time I was purposefully goading you Waitress, you're right to call me a smartass on this occasion.

There'll be another war soon enough, there always is. That'll sort it all out for a while.

It's a shame that that's what it takes but until we all get a little better about ourselves that seems to be the default. Hopefully it's small and over quickly with not too many casualties this time.
