I do too. I don't think she's so foxy that it detracts from the overall presentation, which is how I feel about Sophia Bush on Chicago PD. Giddish is pretty close to that line (blond and petite, what's she doing as a rough and tough undercover cop?), but she has enough complexity and vulnerability that I enjoy her character.
And it doesn't hurt that both Giddish and Bush are very attractive, but the unending parade of gorgeous undercover cops - on all procedurals - bugs me a lot of the time.
But back to JGH, I liked her almost right off the bat. The show made sure she didn't walk in like a competent, accomplished professional. She made mistakes, was too emotional, had to learn the ropes a bit. And she doesn't look like she's relying on too much makeup, she looks rather natural.
