Hey Baby Jesus (a Christmas poem)
"Hey Baby Jesus" (an original Christmas poem by Allaby)
Hey Baby Jesus, chilling in the manger,
the world has gotten a lot stranger,
and I fear we are all in danger.
You came to save us all,
but will we listen when you call,
cause we always seem to stumble and fall.
Hey baby Jesus, help us make it through,
hey baby Jesus, help us trust in you.
Hey baby Jesus, keep our hearts true.
May we do what is right,
following you, day and night.
Lead us with your love so bright.
Every Christmas and all year long,
may your hearts sing your song.
Hey Baby Jesus, help keep me from the wrong.
Hey Baby Jesus, fill my heart with your love,
and touch me with your grace from above.
