The best Elektra

I agree. Her motivation shifts all over the place. I don't like her choice of dialect or her performance, but it really comes down to the writing for her character. It's just bad writing and when other characters interact with her, they're bad too. The only thing that holds season two together for me is Punisher.

Does anybody here read comics? Honestly as much as I like the show they got Elektra very wrong. I don't blame the actress. This Elektra was pretty much a catwoman ripoff. I hated how they changed her and Matt's Orgins,in the comics they almost immediately fell in love,Matt actually wooed her. Here on the show it made it seem like she was praying on him and was always evil and unstable.which wasn't the case,It was her father's death in the books which young Matt tried to safe both of them but failed(There is even a what if book were Matt is the one that dies and Elektra was devastated and he comes back evil were she has to kill him and when she does shes hurt) They took away her humanity. Tbh i feel they rushed her somebody like Elektra needs build up.
