You can see Kyle as a proud patriot, who seeing the liberal mob burning and looting, and destroying his country, took matters into his own hands to defend the USA.

Alternatively, you can see him as a punk kid who shot and killed in a reckless manner, and is a murderer.

Where do you come down on this? Or is it a combination of both ?
