Why are you taking shots at me when I haven’t posted in over a month? Be nice.

reply

Where's the hypocrisy?

reply

Okay, my new year's resolution is not to make any more jokes at your expense. I promise.

reply

Well done you made Steve post for the first time in ages.

Bait. Not the jail type.

reply

I think I like angry Steve.

reply

I was about to post that he's never going to come back with posts like this, but lo and behold he posted.

I think maybe the piling on is a little overboard at this point.

reply

We let it slide for the first 5 years of this site. Also I popped over to film boards recently and he's doing it there too.

reply

I know I get it, I totally do, those posts made me uncomfortable too, and that's an understatement. But I'm not sure dog piling is going to change anything or be productive.

reply

I'll stop for you, Vince.

reply

LOL

reply

WHEN THE GUY HASN'T POSTED IN A MONTH...IT ISN'T DOG PILING...IT'S DEAD HORSE KICKING.

reply

Semantics. You know what I meant lol

The man genuinely needs help

I agree. But dogpiling isn't going to help and could make things worse.

reply

To be fair with the stuff he posts he'd get absolute dogs abuse on almost every corner of the internet. Trashy toxic shitheaps like '4chan' are the only sites you'd get away with that stuff and not get attacked.

He was treated very fairly on here. No one bothered him about his posts for years, then when he was called out on it a lot of people lept to his defense but he kept posting and posting and slowly more and more people cottoned on that he genuinely might have some unsavory thoughts/fantasies.

Even then after he got dogpiled he kept posting and pretty much everyone left him alone until he'd inevitably post something questionable once again. Most people on here were and I'd say still are more than happy for him to stay and keep posting so long as he stops commenting on the appearance of young girls.

reply

100% FAIR AND 100% TRUTH.

I have too and that's what I meant that's it not going to change anything or be productive. Shaming and ostracization typically lead to people concealing their behaviors or simply shifting them elsewhere, often exacerbating the issues.

To be fair, if that was the intended response, and maybe it was, then it has been successful.

reply

I always thought that it was his intended response. It's quite a lot of posts that he made and even when called out, continued to do it.

reply

I agree that could very well be the intended response, even a subconscious one.
