Percentage of the Time People Should Spend On the Internet?

I have laziness, depression issues so I spent a lot more time on here than I know is healthy. Plus I have a bit of a morbid curiosity to see how low and nasty people get towards one another on the internet and how they speak to one another or people who they don't agree with... in ways they would never dream of speaking to their face or without the protection of anonimity.

I think people should spend most percent of their lives in the real world and focus on themselves their families and I guess the communities that they live... that is if these social issues are hitting too close to home perhaps which in many cases I'm sure they are.

Maybe the remaining 1 percent of the time they could keep up on all the misinformation being pumped out by the MSM and Private Media Platforms too... and just keep tabs on things and so called truths... as an outsider though. They could keep their toxicity and opinions to themselves, because that's what they are. It doesn't matter what side you're on... you're being fed a lot of bullshit. How can you differentiate truths from lies? Are you an expert? They have "experts" on the news who are at odds with one another on issues. Who the fuck are you?

TV and social media have to be the number one sources of depression.

TV because it’s designed to keep you constantly stressed, tuning in to what’s going to happen next. TV news is an absolute joke.

Social media because it’s not social at all. People will say anything. And people front a version of themselves that is totally fake. “Wow how come everyone lives in a water front high rise in Dubai and travels for a living but me?”

One of the great ironies of life is you’ll never get out of depression by focusing on yourself. Happiness comes from doing for, a giving to others.

Exercise is also a huge way to lower anxiety and depression. The number one way really. You won’t notice a big mood jump from it, but you’ll notice a huge drop when you stop.

Follow that with diet. Stop eating anything with processed sugar. Your energy levels will go way up, you’ll be more motivated and driven. Heck stop eating all processed food. If it requires a machine to make it, don’t eat it. This means everything with flour and sugar. The entire center of the grocery store. Our bodies have not evolved to process processed food, it’s why why we have so many obese and diabetic people.

Do some research on YouTube. Start with Dr Berg. He has dietary remedies for everything.

Big medicine/psych isn't there to make you healthy. They want you sick and addicted to a lifetime of meds and counseling.

Yes, agree with pretty much everything you're saying. Bringing up the exercise and eating natural foods and not processed is pretty key too I think. Although I'm a terrible example. It's hard to get into the right frame of mind for some, I find myself getting derailed all the time by shit that upsets me. Some external and some internal. I find the internet's a bad place to be. The paranoia, the toxicity, the misinformation I think poses problems for all. And the fact that it's become so normalized it feels like this is an ok way to conduct yourself and talk to people you disagree wih for some.
