Did you see T-rump's "best of the best" pick on television tonight?

Yes, T-rump's pick for Patrick Shanahan to go forward as being 'Secretary of Defense' (he's currently 'acting' SoD), kind of blew up all over T-rump, as Shanahan stepped away. Why? Because his 'best of the best' has a rather shady past which the Washington Post reported this past weekend.

Seems Shanahan's 17 year old son 'brutally beat his mother with a baseball bat' in November, 2011, and Shanahan rushed to his son's defense. He also forgot to mention this while 'applying for the job'.

T-rump had a nice explanation for Shanahan's departure which was shared on television. Tweeted T-rump, "Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan, who has done a wonderful job, has decided not to go forward with his confirmation process so that he can devote more time to his family."

What really raises a red flag about this story is not the incidence of the domestic violence--hell, that's almost EXPECTED among Trump's gang of crooked yes-men--it's that (apparently) this dirt wasn't uncovered by the internal vetting process, but by a member of the press who brought it to light. So it begs the question, was this really missed by the department who run background checks on cabinet appointees...or was it just ignored by Scumbag Donnie and his vile henchmen with the hopes that his nomination would sail through approval?

I "can't seem to understand" why after being asked to constrain political commentary to the political board you yet refuse to.

I frankly don't care when "it" was televised. I care why you won't park your political animus in the designated parking space.
