Will Joe pardon him?

The pres just finished saying he believed in the system , with regard to Rittenhouse. If Smollett is found guilty and sentenced to time I think he'll do it (time).
I thought a deal was likely but maybe Smollett's lawyer is telling him they can beat this. Which I would think would start with destroying the two guys, the actor payed to fake this assault.
