William Smith is a very kind and pleasant person and nothing like the baddies he portrays...

Completely true. One of the few "Hollywood" people I have met. I waited on him and two others in Orlando, FL back in 1990. Hell of a generous tipper and loved sharing stories from "Red Dawn" and "Any Which Way You Can". May he now RIP.

I find that hard to believe. Actors who are portrayed on screen almost always is how they act in real life.

I remember William Smith mainly from The Outsiders. I didn't find him to be a baddie in any way. In fact, he was quite scared I recall
