Did Franco Nero make a film set in Dark Ages or Medieval Poland? SOLVED

I could swear I saw a Polish movie on VHS in the early 90s with Franco Nero playing some legendary Polish hero fighting off an invading army in the Dark Ages. There was also a romance involved. I looked at Nero's filmography on IMDB and I can't see a title that rings a bell. I guess the movie could have been made anywhere between the 70s and the 90s.

This is the only one that I can think of that even comes close to that description.

No. Thanks for checking, but that's way too late. I remember watching this while I was in college in the early 90s. I rented it from this little convenience store near my mom's place. I remember thinking it was odd that the Italian Franco Nero I knew from the spaghetti westerns was in a Polish film.

Near as I can recall, Poland was being invaded and Nero was a hero organizing the defense. He was in love with a woman whom I think was the wife of the leader of the invading or occupying army. The title may have had "Falcon" in it. Not sure.

Hey! I found it. It was not listed on IMDB, but it was mentioned in his Wikipedia article. "The Falcon (1981)" Turns out it was Serbian, not Polish.

I’ll look it up.

I’ve never seen that one. I’ll try to find it streaming somewhere soon.

If you happen to understand Serbian, or just want to see it, I found it on Youtube under its original name: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6POOLpNRAw&t=3982s
