Forget Lolita ... Night Of The Iguana is her classic role.

Brilliant movie with Richard Burton, Ava Gardner, and Deborah Kerr ... and others.

I was a kid when I saw this movie on TV. Checked the TV Guide and saw "Night Of The Iguana" (1964) and thought yea, a monster movie ... oh boy!! I started to watch it and it was not a monster movie at all, it was a complicated "people" movie, and it was really great, I loved it and it has since become one of my favorite all time movies.

Condolences to Sue Lyon's family, friends and fans. 73 is so young. Rest in peace Sue Lyon, thank you for making one of my favorite movies so good.

Not that Lolita is bad, I just have not been able to watch the whole thing yet because it is kind of slow and hard for me to get into.

Night of the Iguana came on TCM one night and I caught a part of it but hadn’t been paying too much attention and I stopped it because it looked like a movie that was worth watching from beginning to end with no distractions.
