Will he ever make a movie as awesome as District 9 again?

Hes attempted it in his other pictures, no doubt about it. But for whatever reason, District 9 is the gold standard for him. Is it the heart? Is it the creativity of the worlds and weapons? The music? I was stoked for Elysium. I left thinking D9 was better. Chappie previews came out and I thought this may be the heart that Elysium was missing. Watched it and still thought D9 was better.
