Everyone I know who also watch the Expanse have a hard time finishing off Season 2 for all the same reasons (too many intersecting plot lines, too much melodrama, not enough focus on one character)

I know there's tension between the nation/state of Mars and Earth. The bit players who are from both sides are featured and sub plots involving their encounters/battles. It just seems like way too much going on when they could just focus on the alien virus story that affects all involved.
