No Oscar-type roles?

I’m surprised she never made a serious drama film that could get her praise at the Oscars or Golden Globes. She could have been the “Jennifer Lawrence” of the 2000s if she had done more critically-acclaimed work. JL has done her fair share of superhero and thriller movies like Alba but she also has done several drama roles as well.

You’re forgetting the big problem - she’s not a good actress. She is notoriously awful; she made it big strictly because she’s so pretty.

Sleeping Dictionary is probably her one attempt at Oscar-type drama. She wasn’t good in her role.
