Rate his films.

Hasn't made a film since 2010, and it doesn't look like we be getting a new one anytime soon. Such a shame Peter Weir really was a master of his craft and produced some of the best work around. Tough to rate his films but I give it a go

1.Master and Commander (10/10)- Shame we never got the sequels, my personal favourite from Weir. The sea battles are epic. Crowe and Bettany are great.
2. Dead Poets Society (9.5/10)- Robin William's is fantastic. One of the best endings ever. Beautiful told story.
3. The Thurman Show (9.5/10)- Jim Carrey is great. As is Ed Harris. Funny and sad but fantastic.
4. Witness (9/10)- Harrison Ford best acting role. Beautiful shot and told. A love Story as well as police thriller.
5. Picnic At Hanging Rock (9/10)- Weir's most artistic and dreamlike film. still mysterious to this day.
6. Gallipoli (8.5/10)- A great Anti War film. Mel Gibson is fantastic. A ending that stays with you.
7. Fearless (8/10)- Jeff Bridges is great. One of Weir's more underrated films
8. The Way Back (8/10)- Weir's last film to date, a gem in his canon.
9. The Year of Living Dangerously (7.5/10)- Linda Hunt Oscar winning role, solid film.
10. Green Card (7.5/10)- Weir does a comedy romance, underrated film with a great Gerard Depardieu performance.
11. The Last Wave (7/10)
12. The Mosquito Coast (7/10)- Great cast but it doesn't quite work overall
13. The Car That Ate Paris (6/10)- Weir's debut film. Ok.

Great to see The Way Back on top of the list. I know he probably find it hard to get feuding for his films seen as The Way Back and Master and Commander didn't make their money back, shame really as both are great films.

Definitely interesting, he hasn't made a feel as dream like or mysterious as Hanging Rock since so it be nice to see him give something like that another go. Hopefully it finding funding.

1. The Truman Show - just genius piece of work after which you could just stop watching movies (or television).
2. Master and Commander
3. Witness
