I still remember his 📺 commercials with John L. Sullivan Chevrolet during the 80s and am glad Varney carried over his "Hey Vern" bit into the Ernest saves Christmas movie, which is the the first one I've watched. My question to Ernest fans is this: does Vern pop up in all the other Ernest movies or just this one? His scenes with the Christmas tree in Vern's living room are hilarious🤣👍

I didn't know about the John L. Sullivan Chevrolet commercials. What party the country was those shown?

During the same time frame he used the bit for Louisiana Natural Gas commercials.

They aired in the mid '80s - mid '90s in Sacramento CA.
