He wasted the last 30 years on this mad manhunt.

How did he feel about never knowing who killed his wife and her lover?

There needs to be a movie like Zodiac where OJ is investigating under every corner of California, obsessed about finding the real killer, and he looks for clues everywhere and puts together this intricate puzzle to figure out the identity of the mysterious murderer.

Why would the mysterious killer kill her "gay best friend"?

I doubt the mysterious killer was jealous of that. He was dicking her, that's the reality.
