She’s savvy for sure and is smart enough to, if not stay ahead of current trends, at least reinvent herself to adapt to them while keeping the core essence of her nice girl appeal intact. Similar to Madonna, although her core appeal is more the sexual / bitch thing, which Kylie has flirted with but that was never really why people love her.
Vocally there is an argument to be made that her talent is merely “good” but as an avid follower of her live performances I still think that’s underselling her somewhat. She doesn’t have one of those huge R&B voices (you know the ones, where the singer belts and wails and sings around every note) but her tone and vocal control is quite underrated. I think she actually has the perfect type of voice for pop/dance music. Instantly recognisable, warm, with a wicked falsetto. Benny from ABBA once said she has one of the best pop voices of the modern era, and I tend to agree.
Nice girl image took a hit when she slept with Van Damme on the Street Fighter set while he was a married man.

She reminds me of an Old-Hollywood star in that way, totally personable and accessible but still fiercely private and classy when it comes to dishing the dirt on her love affairs or those she has surely had run-ins with throughout her career.
Word is she also has a dalliance with Pauly Shore when filming Bio-Dome, again nothing she has ever confirmed or denied. I can kind of see why with that one lol
