He did make a wonderful Dumbledore!

He was so much better than Gambon. I'll always remember Dumbledore talking to Harry at the end of Sorcerers Stone. All I remember about Gambon is "DIDYAPUTYANAMEINDAGOBLETOFFIYAH?!"

As for roles near the end if his career, I liked him best in Gladiator.
