This guy sucks

He writes terrible novels and he should feel bad about it.

I've read some of his books and I thought they were pretty good.

They are poorly written and they lack depth.

They are one dimensional and cliched. And even then sometimes the people we are supposed to be rooting for are terrible people.

So are 90% of best sellers. There is comfort in reading (or watching) a formulaic story though. Especially when one is reading for escapism. I'm not a Grisham fan myself, but I do understand why people like his books.

As I said previously, sometimes people just like to read trash. That doesn’t make them good.

I HAVE NEVER READ ANY OF HIS NOVELS...BUT I HAVE ENJOYED MANY FILMS BASED UPON THEM...THE RAINMAKER BEING MY FAVORITE.
