Most underrated movie actor ever?

I liked the Iceman test footage and think he should have been left in. Just another case of Wincott being undermined and underrated.

I think he kicks the asses of Buscemi and Billy Bob Thornton who knd of stole part he would have been better in.

He plays death in the game Darksiders 2 and does a awesome job

I no longer know who I am and I feel like the ghost of a total stranger.

I totally agree. He is a total natural. He's right up there with Gary Oldman in my opinion.

reply

Oldman and Wincott were good friends, maybe still are. They had a couple of fairly tense scenes together in the love-it-or-hate-it 'Romeo Is Bleeding' (1993).

reply

Absolutely. He's great and has one of the coolest voices around and yet flies under the radar but that must be how he likes it. He stays far away from interviews and attention. Him not having his life splashed around only adds to the believability when you see him on screen though. If only he was in more... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tVKluGF1dQ

Rufio! Rufio! Ru-Fi-OOOOOOOOOOOOOh!

He's been great in everything I've seen him in. The metal-head moron in Talk Radio, the cool villain in The Crow, the bitter artist in Basquiat, etc. Hopefully his name will be remembered for his absurd level of range.

reply

Certainly one of them, for sure.

2014: The Year of Godzilla

Yeah I've gotta agree with you, I was trying to find some interviews the other day and there are none. That's just crazy, and that's a good scene you posted in that clip. I hope he comes back if there is a Darksiders sequel.

Whoa, wait? Michael Wincott was Death in Darksiders?!?!?! I never knew that. I might actually finish the game now. That's awesome.

reply

One of top favorite character actors.

Without a doubt :3
