What roles has he had the most fun playing?

Perlman has always struck me as an actor who really enjoys the characters he creates. I wonder which ones stand out for him. OT, has he ever played a gangster?

In some interviews he said "Hand of God" was his favourite thing.

I somewhat assume he must have had a lot of fun in "Moonwalkers"

He's always been very clear about his love for Vincent (Beauty and the Beast), he loved that role even though he had to sit through hours of make-up. And he loved working with Linda Hamilton.

Quest for Fire must have been an interesting shoot, considering the makeup and grunting and body language.

Yes, and considering he hardly needed any makeup and only had to act naturally. :)
