When Sophie Marceau refuted the claim by Mel Gibson that she is the daughter of Marcel Marceau, she says she never even met him.

I don't understand why her never having met Marcel Marceau adds weight to her refutation of her being his daughter considering there are lots of people around the world who have never met one or both of their parents.

Well, she must not be his daughter...otherwise she would have kept silent about it.
