Very sad
Very sad news.
He was a man of many talents. Perfectly cast in the role of the elder Bilbo in LOTR’s and of course as the Android Ash in Alien. He was superb in many other roles too.
Ian you’ll be sorely missed.
A seriously superbly talented actor. Great as the evil Ash.
I will also remember him from the Nikolas Cage movie "Lord of War". He plays an arms dealer who meets a tragic end.
