Biggest Loss to Contemporary Cinema

This guy could have played practically anyone.

Imagine A Confederacy of Dunces or a decent Trump biopic starring PSH.

As amazing as his twenty-five or so years in acting were, I feel we only ever scratched the surface of what he was capable of.

True, a great talent who left us too soon.

He was a great actor. "As amazing as his twenty-five or so years in acting were, I feel we only ever scratched the surface of what he was capable of." I saw early work and he really didn't stand out. As time wore on, he just became better.

Too bad he couldn't have been like Anthony Hopkins, conquered his addiction (Hopkins' was to alcohol), and been an even greater actor than before. Hopkins didn't really bloom until he kicked the bottle. It's sad. Like Robert Pastorelli, another brilliant actor who gave himself a hotshot. Tragic.
