If Mark Hamill's Face Hadn't Been Disfigured

What would he look like now, assuming that he would have aged the same as he has in terms of weight, etc.?

Any fan artists or Photoshop magicians willing to hazard a rendering or two?

Why does everyone have so many negative comments about it every single actor actress out there

Though the word 'disfigured' is avery strong word to use, even a minor change in the nose or a change in facial symmetry can drastically change a persons face (look at Montgomery Clift). Hamill's previous nose fit his face better than the newer one, he had a Roman type nose compared to the more petite smaller nose he has now.

What's killing me is the way some individuals keep throwing around the word 'disfigured' as if the way he looks like now is not presentable compared to how his face looked before his accident. It's quite disrespectful.

Wasn't the accident between New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back? I think he looks even better in TESB.

It wasn't my intention to disparage Mark Hamill by using the word "disfigured."

I also didn't mean to give the impression that Hamill is not presentable post-accident.

I was simply speculating what he would have looked like today had he retained his original appearance.

Maybe I should have used the word "changed" or "reconstructed."

I like Mark Hamill very much and am looking forward to seeing him as Luke Skywalker again in The Force Awakens.

Mark still looks great, especially for his age. I dont understand how people can be so hateful towards someone who was in such a serious accident.

What are you talking about? He just broke his nose in a minor car accident. The press blew that way out of proportion...also, that helped him get out of the ABC contract in the TV series Eight is Enough so he could do more Star Wars movies.

reply

Disfigured? He broke his nose and a cheekbone. That's it. You make it sound like he's Hank Williams Jr.

reply

His nose changed his looks dramatically though especially if your compare him in ep.4 & ep.5.

I don't think the OP meant it negatively nor to be disparaging, I'm also curious what he would've looked like with his natural Roman nose. But I think that more than his nose was affected in the car accident.
