Oliver Stone thinks he would be 'vilified' if he tried to make his films today amid the 'cancel culture'

He's made some good films, but he's not a good person if you've heard the stories, plus he's a conspiracy theorist. Anyway he's old and senile now. That said I think those behind cancel culture are much worse than anyone they want to cancel.

Why would he be vilified? His work always has a very Liberal slant. Sam Peckinpah would be vilified if he made his films today, as would John Ford, Robert Aldrich, John Huston and probably John Milius among many others, but I think Stone would fit right in. He'd probably make a fanciful Lefty "expose" of Donald Trump and have a career renaissance as a "pioneer of Liberal cinema".
