I don’t know why he thinks this movie needs a reboot, it was just OK.

Sly should be working on way more more Tulsa King, that show is really cool, Stallone still kicks ass.

hmmm. I don't hate this. This could work as either a re-boot fully, soft re-boot, or late sequel. The concept of survival man against all odds has been done to death in the jungle, but it's still fairly fresh in the snowy mountain setting. Cliffhanger is actually one of my favorite Stallone-bone flicks. I love how it mashes up the classic motifs of man vs nature and man vs man. I love that the hero in the story is very able bodied and proficient in his environment, rather than say an every-man plane crash survivor. It was a visually stunning film with incredible tensely edited sequences that had me on the edge of my seat no matter how many times I watched it. Of all the films he's wanted to revisit, i'd very much welcome this one. I'm not sure how much there is to revisit with his character in that film. We've already seen him come full circle on his regret and grief. If he returns old and sorry to fight the mountain one last time... meh. It needs a lot more than that.
