I loved him in Suicide Squad!

He's a crowdpleaser and a movie star. He's not a "great actor."

You loved him in Suicide Squad?

He played Will Smith in a Deadshot costume.

All he ever does is play himself.

As noted above, he's a good entertainer (or at least he was) but he's not a great actor in the slightest.

I kept wishing it was Michael Jai White in Suicide Squad and not Overthehill Smith. But I refused to let Smith ruin the movie for me.

Frankly Will Smith was the least of Suicide Squad problems. You know like the shitty script.
