Did David Duchovny do X-Files and Red Shoe Diaries at the same time? I would have thought given the incredible success of X-Files he would have been able to quit Red Shoes. Has he ever talked about why he didn't leave it?

Red Shoe definitely continued with the X-Files.

my guess is he was making money on both so.. if the schedule wasn't a problem. why quit?
he was probably banging girls from both shows.
