Neve Campbell made an unceremonious exit from the Scream franchise following a pay dispute, but it may be too late for her to return for Scream 7.

I wanted Campbell to return for Scream VI, but given that she didn't this may be the natural time to make that break with her (it's got to happen sometime). There were hints that Stu Macher might return. Of course, they could just be red herrings. It was good to see Hayden Panetierre's Kirby Reed back. I hope she hangs around.
