MuggleFan, , ms_sunshine, nutsberryfarm and many others

I am sorry to say I have not seen any of your post at the Food and Drink boards here.

http://imdb2.freeforums.net/

http://area51.boardhost.com/

And only one from ZolotoyRetriever. They might not be as good as these boards here at IMDB yet but give them a chance. The more posters they get the better the sites will become.

Only three day left here. So hope to see you on those boards!

I've signed up for two boards. I just wish we all could agree on one board.

Can make a heart open.
This is my fight song.

"I just wish we all could agree on one board."

I agree with that. If everyone sighs up for different sites none of them will have enough people to survive. Sadly it will be almost impossible to get most people to pick a favorite site.

Anyone with ideas I'm listening.

What's so horrible about this board?

What's so horrible about this board?

Nothing. It like some others just need more people posting.

My point was that folks could decide on roosting here. The plus side of this one is that it has the movie boards, too. I doubt many folks initially clicked on the Internet Movie Database because it had a Food and Drink board. Chances are they were drawn to movies.

Downside -- no PMs (yet) and none of those wonderful emoticons. Plus, there's no commitment to rooting out curse- and bigot-happy trolls -- you know, the childish sorts who simply want to shock and probably got addicted to it the first time they said, "Pee-pee." They're what made IMDb known throughout the Internet as Troll Central.

If you find my idea of Nirvana, please let me know. At the moment, I feel at home here, I suppose primarily because so many of my old posts are still up. I can go to many of the more popular boards and see things substantially as they were. For someone who'd lost their Internet home, that's comforting.

A serious admin can rid the place of trolls, or so I'm told by people who themselves used to be admins. They said that IMDb was never serious about it because they didn't do the most effective things. Personally, I think they didn't want to hire the number of dedicated admins it would take to really get 'er done.

I've noticed that the excessive cursing and the bigotry seem to go hand in hand. They now seem empowered because of this "alt-right" movement -- and this comes from a conservative. Bigotry and real conservatism don't go hand in hand. This is a new and disgusting thing.

"Sock problem" makes me think of the infamous AyeLewis. Multiply the sites, and you just give someone like him -- and his minions -- a number of sites to troll.

I haven't looked into this site yet, but someone who liked my writing on IMDb recommended it: http://www.the-movie-portal.com/ If it's a good one, please come back and let me know!

PS -- stupid question, but wasn't it you who'd made a link "clicky" that I saw? If it was, could you tell me how to do it?

Do I know you from IMDb under another name? This is the name I went under on IMDb -- at least, there at the end.

I'd figured you'd seen the post. I can't remember if you can look up posters there, or not. I think you can. Then shoot me a PM.
