Question

So what does it mean to identify as something? I’ve noticed a lot of people these days seem to be saying “i identify as a man” or “I identify as a woman” or “i identify as both genders” or “i identify as black”, etc., but no one really explained to me what that means????

reply

Someone wants to be special.

They are not special in the real world, so they pretend to be special and demand that that others acknowledge what they are doing.

Back in the day it used to be called mental illness.

That makes sense, and from what I gathered it seems to be if you’re “identifying” as something it means you’re pretending to be something you aren’t, which is fine I guess but the rest of the world shouldn’t be shamed into going along with it.

reply

It's a species of narcissism.
