Anyone else read the young adult novel "The Giver"?

I thought it was a pretty impactful and emotional book when I read it in Junior High. It changed the way I saw things at least.

I live in the age of TikTok.

That's way too long.

Boy meets girl meets hippopotamus?
Girl repairs relationship with mother at karate tournament?
Grandma teaches grandchild to crotchet and how to commit the perfect murder?

I gotta know!*

Oh my gawd, where's my five word summary or seven second video?

A generation of ADHD'ers and they expect me to read or watch a movie. No.

On an unrelated note, Mark Twain's 1872 Roughing It is a nice book - it's about a guy in the Old West.

Movie trailers give away the entire story.

I only watched the movie and forgot what it was about.
