I liked it! I'm not real big on rating things, but I'll give you 8 out of 10 here. It's such an amazing piece of music (well over 300 years now and it still gets played a lot) and I liked the ending (and the build-up to it...kind of "Joe Walsh-like" to me).

Well done! I know pretty much zero about recording, but appreciate the time and effort involved to do something like this.

Thanks😎 I don't even try & do the song "like it's supposed to be done"; basically it's really only based on the chord progression of Canon.

I've been doing this for 30+ years now, starting out with a 4 track cassette recorder, evolving to an 8 track r+r about a year later, then an ADAT for 15+ years; currently for the last decade or so a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Been playing guitar for about 40 years, entirely self taught. Played drums when I was younger, & can pretty much figure my way out on Bass & Keyboards.

I do tend to over-produce my stuff a bit. I like the convenience of computer-based recording, but I do kinda miss the warmth of analog recording. Too much maintenance involved in that though (& nowadays $$$$!!)

Check out the other stuff on my page when you can. My style runs the gamut from stuff like the song I posted to some more experimental avant-garde excursions (& all points in between!) There are a couple of songs where I laughingly try to "sing"πŸ˜‚

I sure will! I will respond with more later (pressed a bit for time right now), but will definitely check out your music! Well done!

I hadn't forgotten about your music! πŸ˜ƒ These last few weeks have been really busy for me...oldest in Track & Field, youngest in soccer, oldest two had band concerts, etc.

Anyway, I have been listening to your music and I have to give you props again. I really admire your recording skills (I'm so ignorant when it comes to recording and I appreciate the time and effort involved to record your music). On a couple of your tracks, I kind of get a "Smashing Pumpkins vibe" and like your covers ("Old Man" and your parody of "Lucky Man" was funny..."80s Man!" πŸ˜ƒ). You are very talented...I liked the one acoustic track that you did also.
