I'm skeptical of the extremely positive reviews online from audience and mixed reviews from critics. It seems the high reviews from audience are probably from Christian fanatics.
I wouldn't trust movies like that. They are often deeply religious, which is fine, but they make it look like a zombie cult. And they often talk down and shame the audience.
I enjoy those movies where the arrogant & creepy college professor is scoffing at religion, then is confronted by a quiet, confident, godly young fellow (usually a fellow) who calmly 'destroys' all the eggheads 'arguments', leaving the professor humbled, but wiser.
